Hot Shoe 100 Senior Management is privileged to Announce, the 3⃣rd Annual New Shoe Shootout, and for the first time, will be held at Kalamazoo Speedway, on Friday, August 7th, as part of Hot Shoe 100 XII Race Weekend

A very popular event, when introduced in 2024, the will forever be a permanent part of lore, and offers a unique opportunity to earn a spot in the 👑💎 of Modified Racing in the 🇺🇸

The Winner of the event will not only gets a $2,000 payday, but will also receive a GUARANTEED Starting Spot in the 👑💎 Of Modified Racing in the 🇺🇸, Hot Shoe 100 XII, on Saturday, August 8th. The ONLY Provisional Available

In 2024, during the Inaugural Event, and making the most of his debut behind the wheel of a Modified, 19-year-old (at the time) Blaine Akin visited Victory Lane. In 2025, Jordan Gatton, scored the victory, and then utilized that coveted Provisional to make his first career start in the

For the 2026 version of this event, the Criteria has been altered and is very simple, the New Shoe Shootout is Limited to ONLY those Drivers who Register for the 2026 that have NEVER Raced in a Hot Shoe 100 A Feature Lifetime

That's it.... That's the Criteria.... So, if say, Dale Earnhardt Jr., entered , he would be eligible for the , since he has never started a A Feature in his career

The First 20 Registered Teams, who are Eligible, will be able to Race in the 35-Lap Feature, paying $2,000 to Win and $350 to Start. Those 20 Teams will have their own Practice/Group Qualifying Session, with the Top 10 Fastest Times from Qualifying, going to the Inversion Redraw

More importantly, for those Teams Eligible, its critical track time, under race conditions, around the fast 3/8s (0.375) Mile, High-Banked, Paved Oval, in Kalamazoo, MI

Any other Teams, who do not get their Registration Form in, within the first 20 Registered, that are Eligible, will be put on a waiting list, and if any of the first 20 Registered Teams, withdraws, for whatever reason, the first on the Waiting List, will move into the Event

(NOTE: FINAL Determination on Eligibility for this Event will be made by Senior Officials)

Then on Saturday, August 8th, if the Winner does not Qualify within the Top 24 for , on Saturday, August 8th, which sets the fields for the A, B and C Features, they will Start 25th in the Main Event of the weekend, the 100-Lap A Feature, paying $10,024 to Win and $1,024 just to Start
