To our beloved guests and friends –
Cecil’s oldest daughter, Laurie here. This is the hardest post we have ever had to write.
It is with great heartache that we announce we will not be open for operation in 2024. The ranch is currently for sale and we pray a buyer comes along that will carry on the horse riding business.
Hosting guests at Artemis Acres was our Dad’s greatest joy. We are forever indebted to you for your patronage and friendship over the years. Thank you for helping make Artemis Acres a truly magical place.

We try to focus on the joy of having horses, but ranch life isn’t always joyful. Today, we laid to rest one of our gentle giants, Hank. 😪 He was a sweet boy, a friend to many, and an awesome trail horse.

It's time to get back in the saddle! 🤠 Starting March 1, we're taking reservations for the season. Weather permitting, horseback rides will begin April 1. Keeping with the family tradition, we don't have wifi or internet at the ranch, so please call us to reserve a spot - 406.755.3723. Spots fill up quickly so don't delay!
