Wholly smokes there’s some pigs coming out of Fort Peck. The bite has been tough this season for kings but this fish is exactly why Fish On Charters grinds it out for his clients. You just never know when that king of a lifetime will show up and smash your gear. Nice fish bud!

Took the boys out with Pa to sling some arrows this evening… can’t wait for archery season to kick off. It’s almost time folks!

What a fun trip with Fish On Charters over on Fort Peck. I’ve lived in Montana for over 20 years now and just learned a couple years ago that we had Kings. This will definitely not be my last trip over east to look for some chrome gold. There’s a great campground, tackle shop, restaurant and bar Jessica Kjensrud Collinsworth. The salmon bite was tough but we heard of some great walleye, pike and lake trout numbers coming in. As it gets later into August those kings should start finding their way back to the bays where they were released but the walleye fishing sounds like it has been world class lately.

Some slabs hitting the deck on Peck. Fish On Charters is grinding it out daily putting clients on some good fish. I grew up catching kings in the Puget Sound of Washington, I didn’t even know we had them in Montana until last year. Nothing pulls like a 20+ lb king… it’s just heating up. I’m headed over on Sunday for a quick rip with Captain cameron hockett. Hopefully we get on some chromers, FISH ON!!!
