How to blow this call... Here is what I do... I put one tooth on the reed and I tip the call up at about a 30 degree angle or so.I do this so that I don’t blow saliva straight down the soundboard ,which keeps the reed from sticking. Then as I blow short bursts of air I purse my lips together . if I bite close to the end I get The high pitch calf sounds . If I bite a little farther up and change the angle of the call slightly I get a cow call. Or I can slide my teeth on the soundboard slightly to get the different pitches from calf to cow and estrous cow sounds. This call takes very little air to blow, and also it works best if you bite the call barely with your teeth,then purse your lips together while lightly blowing short bursts of air.
