Glacier Gunners are officially on the map! After about a year and a half. We made our first official appearance as a club. Playing a three team 9’s tournament with .hurling and . We walked away with a win and a loss, representing ourselves well for our inaugural games. First of many, Glacier Gunners are here to stay…..boom!

When you get a couple Irish lads to come down and join in for a quick hurling scrimmage. Class A training. From Donegal, to Kildare to Galway to Meath. We’ve officially gone international for the summer! Closest thing you’re getting to a full Irish in the states!

The sport that is spanning continents! Great to have some Irish lads who are working in the valley stop by and show us a thing or two! Peter and Danny representing Donegal and Cavan in the Glacier Gunners colors. Great sight to see! Danny’s first day on a hurling pitch but we will take his rugby experience any day. Peter is a class player from Donegal and showed me how to win one on one (or how to lose rather). Maybe I should go on an Ireland recruiting tour to fill our ranks!

Don't forget to come and say 'HI' at Brannigan's Pub this Thursday the 5th of June! We'll be watching a match and would love to tell you about hurling- the fastest sport on grass. As always, we'll have a special assist from the Irish Session.
