when i walked onto my first day of filming The Voice UK, i had no idea of what to expect. this show really put my improv skills to the test. it’s all about rolling with what’s in front of you and i have to say I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the challenge and that energy! so, when this happened, as you’ll see by face, i was in a bit of a shock because i was SERIOUSLY JET LAGGED, as i just flew in from australia and walked straight on to set and to be honest, i wasn’t sure i could even walk to the stage at this point, 😂 but a magical moment happened… #REALLY you are pure joy, Joy Farrukh and i am SO honored that i got to share this special moment with you. i can’t even begin to tell you how much fun we had filming this series. we laugh, we cry, we get a little competitive and then we (mainly Tom Fletcher and i) cry some more…). tune in tonight on ITV and you’ll see why!! 10/03/2024

In celebration of our 25th Anniversary race we inducted two athletes into the M2O World Championships Hall of Fame, and awarded them beautiful handcrafted koa boards created by M2O athletes. The first of these inaugural athletes is Mick Di Betta. Mick Di Betta is the winner of the very first #M2OWorldChampionships race in 1997 and at age 61 he just finished his 24th crossing. Mick is currently the most prolific long distance paddling coach with athletes from over 30 countries tapping into his knowledge of the sport, the channel and nutrition. In celebration of our 25th Anniversary race we inducted two athletes into the M2O World Championships Hall of Fame, and awarded them beautiful handcrafted koa boards created by M2O athletes. The first of these inaugural athletes is Mick Di Betta. Mick Di Betta is the winner of the very first #M2OWorldChampionships race in 1997 and at age 61 he just finished his 24th crossing. Mick is currently the most prolific long distance paddling coach with athletes from over 30 countries tapping into his knowledge of the sport, the channel and nutrition. The #M2OWorldChampionships remains an integral part of not only his training regimen but who he is as a waterman. Kai was one of the first athletes to cross the Ka’iwi Channel on a Foil and this Sunday will compete in the SUP Foil division for the third year.
