Pencils sharpened. Backpacks packed. Skates laced. ✏️🎒⛸️ Back 2 School Learn to Skate USA Session B starts Tuesday, September 15!

This four-week session meets Tuesdays and Thursdays, giving skaters twice-weekly ice time to learn new skills, build confidence and keep progressing.

Happy Labor Day from Ice Valley Centre Ice Arena! 🇺🇸⛸️

Today feels like the perfect time to give a special shoutout to the incredible team that keeps Ice Valley running day in and day out.

From our front desk and skate guards to instructors, coaches, maintenance staff, volunteers and everyone working behind the scenes, there are so many people who help make the rink a welcoming place for our skaters, hockey players, families and community.

We may not have photos of every member of our team, but we hope each of you knows how much your hard work is appreciated.

Thank you for everything you do for Ice Valley. We couldn’t do it without you! 💜

The countdown is on for the 2026 Kankakee Valley Open Compete USA Competition on Sunday, October 11 at Ice Valley Centre Ice Arena!

Skaters can compete in a variety of events, including programs with music, Excel and Championship Free Skate, Adult events, Athletic Development events and Hockey 1–4.

All skaters will also receive event photography from KrPhotogs Photography LLC.
