Weight and potency are not the same thing. A substance can be present in a small amount yet still have a significant effect, while a larger amount of a less potent substance may have little impact.

HIWU has adjudicated multiple cases under HISA's Anti-Doping and Medication Control (ADMC) Program in relation to the dietary supplement Easywillow. Easywillow’s ingredient label lists Kava Kava, which is an explicitly named S0 Banned Substance under its other names, Kava and Piper Methysticum.

When a horse is retired, it’s officially removed from the testing pool and can no longer race or participate in Timed Workouts. If that horse later returns to racing, it must go through an “unretirement” process, including a required Out-of-Competition testing period before it can be cleared to breeze or race again.
