Nothing is ever guaranteed in this sport. Every time our fighters step into the ring, they put their heart, discipline, and countless hours of hard work on the line.

This weekend, 5 of our Full Throttle Fighters traveled to Oklahoma City to compete in the Rival Tournament. Every one of them fought with courage, represented our team with pride, and left it all in the ring. We couldn’t be more proud of the effort they gave.

A huge congratulations goes to Gavy, who battled his way to the top and is bringing home the Regional Championship Belt! 🏆🥊

Win or lose, we’re proud of every fighter who had the courage to step through those ropes. The work continues… and we’re just getting started.

💙 A Legacy That Lives On 💙

Some people leave a mark on your heart that time can never erase.

Last September, our family experienced a loss that changed us forever. Our nephew, Tone, was the kind of young man who could walk into a room and instantly make it brighter. His smile was contagious, his heart was genuine, and the impact he made on those around him will never be forgotten.

Last week, through tears, pride, and purpose, we honored that legacy.

For the first time ever, Full Throttle Foundation presented the Tone Award, an award created to recognize a young person who demonstrates resilience, discipline, growth, and the courage to choose a better path despite life’s challenges.

This year’s recipient was Manny.

When Manny first came into our program, he was carrying his own battles. But week after week, he showed up. He listened. He worked. He grew. He made choices that reflected the young man he is becoming, not the circumstances he came from.

That’s what this award is about.

It’s about honoring young people who refuse to give up.

It’s about celebrating change when no one is watching.

It’s about reminding our youth that their story isn’t over.

Manny, we are incredibly proud of you. You earned this honor.

And Tone, we promise your name will continue to be spoken. Your legacy will continue to inspire. Your light will continue to shine through the young lives we are blessed to serve.

Because although your life was taken too soon, your impact never will be.

At Full Throttle Foundation, our mission is to serve underserved and at-risk youth in Wyandotte County through fitness, boxing, mentorship, and meaningful group discussions.

We believe that when young people are surrounded by positive influences, structure, accountability, and support, incredible things can happen. Confidence grows. Goals become clearer. Leaders begin to emerge.

Our program is about more than exercise. It’s about building character, creating connections, and helping youth develop the tools they need to succeed both inside and outside the gym.
