FULL Dia de los Mu***os Performance we debuted at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art November 3rd, 2024.

As MiSol, we embrace a contemporary approach in our dances, blending tradition with modern interpretations. In creating this show, we aimed to honor the traditional aspects of folklorico tied to Dia De Los Mu***os by highlighting regions such as Veracruz and Michoacán. We also interpreted Xantolo from the Huasteca region of Mexico through our skeletons dances.

Hoy quiero compartir mi profunda gratitud y pasión por Grupo Folklórico MiSol. Este grupo no es solo un espacio para bailar, es una extensión de nuestras raíces, un lugar donde nuestra cultura mexicana cobra vida con cada paso, cada zapateado, y cada sonrisa. Ver a nuestros niños, jóvenes y adultos bailar con tanta dedicación y amor por nuestras tradiciones me llena de alegría y mas pasión.

MiSol es más que un grupo de danza, es una comunidad, una familia, y una celebración de quiénes somos. Cada ensayo y cada presentación es un homenaje a nuestra herencia, un acto de resistencia cultural y un recordatorio de la belleza de nuestras raíces.

Gracias a cada integrante, padre de familia y a nuestra comunidad por ser parte de esta aventura. Juntos hacemos que nuestra cultura brille más fuerte que nunca. ¡Que siga el ritmo, el arte y el alma de México en cada corazón! 💛🇲🇽☀️

Dia de los Mu***os; La Fiesta at Crossroads Hotel was ✨unforgettable✨ to say the least ❤ We definitely felt the love from everyone there who embraced our culture and traditions. We felt extra special being the first folklorico group to participate in this fiesta. 🥹 We hope to continue bringing beautiful dances and performances to you guys every year at Crossroads.
