Public Announcement: Closure of Ducks' Flying Discs – Kansas City Location

Dear valued customers,

We regret to inform you that Ducks' Flying Discs in Kansas City, located at 3805 N. Oak Trafficway Suite B, Kansas City, MO, will be permanently closing November 18th, 2023.

The facility's closure aligns with the long-term strategic direction of CGD Inc., and it is with regret that we must cease operations at this location.

If you have outstanding vouchers with us, we encourage you to visit our store and make use of your vouchers before this date if possible. However, if you are unable to visit our store before our closure, Duck’s staff will be extending all expiring voucher dates to December 31, 2024. You will be receiving electronic vouchers that can be redeemed at our other locations. We are committed to serving you even after our doors in Kansas City have closed and will arrange to mail your selected merchandise from one of our Wichita locations.

Your satisfaction remains our priority, and we aim to make this transition as seamless as possible.

We sincerely appreciate your patronage and support during our time in Kansas City. Ducks' Flying Discs and our Staff have been honored to be a part of your disc golf experience.

Need some points for your Worlds qualification? Duck's Sunday Funday PDGA League can help you get there - come to Duck's to sign up between 10 and 2, or sign up Saturday if you want an early start Sunday morning. We have at least one early starter - let's get some cardmates for Matt Jenkins!

I don't think the weather could be any more perfect for Duck's Sunday Funday League! Just got some gorgeous trade in discs, and a bunch of discs pulled from the pond at Bad Rock Creek by Sean Valentine after Invasion of the Birdie Snatchers 2 presented by Millennium Golf Discs. Payouts have been posted in discgolfscene - thank you to the 124 players who came out, and congratulations to the winners! There were lots of ties and you all played your butts off - we appreciate you playing and hope you had fun. I promise to make a proper post listing all the champions & runner ups - it's just gonna take a little bit.

RJ Lawson and graphic designer TJ Thurman came to scoop up some Millennium Golf Discs candy from fundraiser and player pack discs for Invasion of the Birdie Snatchers 2 - thanks for helping support the event! There are 19 fundraiser discs left for sale now, while supplies last. Already registered as an amateur? Stop in or call to reserve yours if you're worried they'll run out. Friday is early player pack pick-up at Duck's. There are 24 Amateur spots remaining as of 10/31. Final two baskets will be moved 11/1.

Hark! What light through yonder window breaks? 'Tis the sun - get thee to Duck's and go play some disc golf! It's tournament week, and we have some easy ways you can help, by getting yourself or your loved ones a lucky flower or 4-leaf clover keychain for just $2, or a microfiber towel on a carabiner for $4. It all goes to help us get extra goodies for players and volunteers at our next event - thank you!
