We’ve heard your feedback about the current location of our kickball league, and we’re excited to share that we’re actively working with Kansas City Parks and Recreation on the possibility of bringing kickball back to Midtown KC for the Fall 2026 season!

Making that move possible, however, depends on all of us. Returning to Midtown is only achievable if we have enough volunteers to safely and successfully run the league.

To make this happen we need a minimum number of volunteers -
20 Umpires
4 Equipment/Field Managers
6 Field Crew

These numbers aren’t final, but we do need at least these numbers to move forward.

If we do not reach these volunteer numbers, we will not have the operational capacity to move back to Midtown and will need to return to Blue Valley for the Fall 2026 season.

The Volleyball Director position is still open! This position oversees the day-to-day operations of the sport with responsibilities such as timeline and league planning, sports budget, ordering t-shirts, and maintaining rules and regulations! If you've been looking for a way to give back to the Stonewall community, this is a great opportunity to make a lasting impact as we're looking for someone to step into this role so we can make our winter volleyball season happen. This position in particular is extremely important as without a Volleyball Director, we will not have the Winter 2027 Indoor Volleyball Season!
