The cardiovascular system is just as interesting to me know as the musculoskeletal system has been.

If you want to get better at running and avoid injury, I HIGHLY recommend you completely stop caring about how fast you’re running and ONLY focus on how fast your heart is beating.
I have never done this before and have found it to be extremely rewarding thus far.

Not only am I building legs, improving my stride, and conditioning my heart….

My body has started to build muscle again from 2-3 days of recovery from strength training. The carry over to strength is remarkable. It is completely contrary to what I have always been told. You can in fact build muscle and strength as a runner if your Calories and Protein are in Check.

Equally as fulfilling, my motivation for lifting or any exercise for that matter is through the roof because of the all the recent variety and learning.

Thank you for always breathing down my neck.
For leading the way, when it gets dark and I doubt myself, for unwaveringly replying “LETS GOOOO” with every movement, of every minute, of every day.
