Happy Mother’s Day from Center Wrestling!
Today we celebrate all of the amazing moms, grandmas, guardians, and mother figures who help support our athletes and our program every day. From practices and tournaments to long bus rides, team dinners, laundry, encouragement, and unconditional love — your impact never goes unnoticed.
Thank you for helping shape the young men and women of our program both on and off the mat. The strength of our wrestling family comes from the people behind the scenes who sacrifice so much for these athletes to succeed.
We appreciate you all more than words can say. Happy Mother’s Day from our HIVE MIND family to yours! 💛🖤

🔥 HISTORY MADE. AGAIN. 🔥
We have a STATE QUALIFIER! 🐝💛
She is officially a 2️⃣-time State Qualifier, sitting at 40 wins on the season, and has cemented her name in Center Wrestling history as the first-ever female Yellowjacket to qualify for State more than once.
Let that sink in.
This isn’t just a great season — this is a standard-setting accomplishment.
Hard work. Toughness. Growth. Belief.
You continue to raise the bar for what it means to represent Center Wrestling and the HIVE MIND culture.
🔥 Accountability.
🔥 Resilience.
🔥 Finishing what you start.
We are beyond proud of you.
Huge shoutout to Coach Ali Lopez, Richard Franco Jr., Bryce Sevier Charles Misher and the entire coaching staff for continuing to build something special on the girls side. The culture is working.
STATE BOUND. AGAIN. 🏆

🐝 Calling All Yellowjacket Wrestling Alumni 🐝
As we head into Districts, we’re looking to bring our Yellowjacket family back into the room.
If you’re a former boys or girls Yellowjacket wrestler and are available to stop by practice over the next few weeks, we would love to have you in the room—rolling, coaching, encouraging, or simply being present.
🗓 District Dates
🤼♀️ Girls Districts: February 13–14
🤼♂️ Boys Districts: February 20–21
Your experience, perspective, and energy mean a lot to our current wrestlers as they prepare for the postseason. This program was built by those who came before—and that legacy still matters.
If you’re interested, comment below or send me a message so we can coordinate times.
Once a Yellowjacket, always a Yellowjacket.

🐝 29th Annual Alan Isom Invitational — TOURNAMENT RECAP 🐝
This weekend’s 29th Annual Alan Isom Invitational came with its share of challenges due to weather. Our originally scheduled two-day tournament was condensed into a one-day event, and because of that, a lot of adjustments had to be made on the fly. Thanks to the hard work of our tournament staff, the willingness of our coaches to be flexible, and everyone pulling in the same direction, we were still able to successfully host the event.
A special shout-out to all of our tournament workers and Mr. Rodriguez for their leadership, problem-solving, and countless behind-the-scenes efforts that helped keep everything running smoothly.
We also want to thank our coaches, wrestlers, officials, Booster Club, security, administration, and the many families and supporters who showed up and made the environment electric throughout the day.
Below are the Center boys varsity results, listed by weight class:
