Congratulations to the 2026 Hobby Hill Champion, Andrew Lunning! He shot -13 over two rounds, followed by a trio at -12: Lukas Stone, Arnold Hearn, and Hudson Fortunato. SuperJay took the MA40 kids' lunch money, leaving MA50 for Adam Turvey, while Buford Baker won MA60. Cody Fleenor won MA2, Mike Christensen returned from Indiana to win MA3, and Bradley Page won MA4. Michelle B, Sarah & Chloe Williams won the ladies divisions. Four players took advantage of the October PDGA membership window to join & renew through 2027 and save the $15 fee. DGA donated some starter bags and a Mach Shift training basket; they were raffled off to amateur players. The weather was gorgeous, and we enjoyed snacks & water provided by Hans Weding of D-Clip. LaRon Harris painted all the OBs, MK helped with the course rules, and we appreciate Gladstone Parks for their cooperation. Thank you all for a great Hobby Hill league season!

Shout-out to KC players at USDGC Doubles in Rock Hill SC
We have five doubles teams who went to compete at the Main Event this weekend, after qualifying at El Disco Doubles in August. There were also teams who qualified, were unable to travel, and passed the honor to their fellow players. Playing at Winthrop is an elite honor, and we hope you're having an elite experience!
MA1: Greg Utz & Stephen Blowers, Zach Kent & Trent Alexander
MA40: David Craigg & Andrew Stubbs
MA2: David Rhodes & Nehemiah Rosell, Emmett Cady & Jack Gibson

Good luck, and have fun!

Due to heavy rainfall, we made changes to the Championship layout in UDisc, and updated PDGA course notes have been posted in Discgolfscene.
44 spots remain for Saturday. Jeff Gradinger of DG Nomad will make trophy tiles for the champions of divisions that have players registered as of today, Thursday.
Also effective October 1, new or renewed PDGA memberships are valid through December 2027. Pay $15 non-member fee Saturday, or $50 to cover the next 15 months of events. Anyone who signs up, talk to me to get a PDGA member disc.
Defending MPO champion Brett Lance has yet to register....he asked us to hold this event again, but maybe he wants to give someone else a chance.
See you Saturday!
