Records show Kansas title defenses of Sato and Geigel include defending the titles against Bulldog Bob Brown and Otto Von Heller at Century II in Wichita, KS on March 8, 1976.
Sato and Geigel would defend the titles again against Brown and Von Heller a few nights later in Iola, KS at the Allen Co. Community college.

We are sad to announce that longtime Kansas Citian and pro wrestler Billy Howard has passed away. We had been talking with him over the last six months, trying to get an interview about his time in Central States, AWA and other territories, but, unfortunately, our time has run out. Billy was a great man to deal with as I put together KC On The Mat, and I enjoyed talking with him about wrestling over the last decade and a half. Another Central States stalwart gone. RIP.
