Ward Parkway Lanes' Bob Covey maintains traditions as he nears retirement After running his shop, Custom Bowling Services, inside Ward Parkway Lanes for the last 25 years, Bob Covey knows how to strike up a conversation.

Looking back on my earlier post I realized that I forgot two very important people.
First off, I want to thank Kevin Barnes and Ward Parkway lanes for giving my my shop a great home for so many years. He and his staff has been incredible and Ward Parkway is truly a bowlers bowling center.
Also, thanks to Robin Crawford-Orlikowski and the folks at Hi-Revs Marketing for all the work they’ve done making sure my web page and page always looked so good.

Today is the final day for Custom Bowling Services, Inc. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of my customers for their support and friendship through the years. All of you stepped up when I began my tuna drive for Harvesters and floored me with your generosity. You are truly appreciated.
I would also like to thank the folks at Gran Prix, whose support is a huge part of my success over the years. They are the people that make it possible to do what we do for our bowling communities!
I also want to thank my fellow PSOs here in Kansas City. Over the years we’ve supported each other through good times and tough times.
Again, thanks to all of you, you have meant so much to me and I can’t even begin to tell how grateful I am to have been a part of this fantastic bowling community here.
