Lots of good stuff in here, worth a few swipes, short read.

I’d add, “The coach is rarely (if ever) mad at your player. The decisions are not personal. Coaches are just balancing best for team with best for player.”

It’s always about more than the game…

To the athlete who isn’t always in the team’s spotlight ... but still shows up anyway.

The one whose name isn’t in the starting lineup, but still puts in the work like it will be.

The one who is always on the scout team, but does that job to the fullest because they know it’s best for the group.

The one who rotates in for 1-2 minutes when the starter needs a break, then goes back to the bench and waits to be called on again.

The one putting in the work to get better…
… because they want to be ready whenever their name is called.

We see you.

And we know most days your role can't be easy.
To not get the minutes. Or the recognition.

It can be tough to not be seen (or rewarded) for what you bring.
But we want to remind you it doesn’t take away from the player or person you’re becoming.

Because one day you’ll look back and see that these moments shaped you.

The discipline you showed.
The character you maintained.
The resilience you built.
The commitment you never gave up on.

And long after the season ends, you’ll carry THAT into every room you walk into.

You’re already a winner, kid.
Don’t let anyone else make you believe otherwise.
