Check it out !!!!
Can’t wait !
Today, we are incredibly proud and excited to announce the next chapter in the story of the St. Clairsville Recreation Department — the development of a brand-new 20,000-square-foot recreation facility built to serve our children, families, and entire community for generations to come.
For many years, our Recreation Department has worked to provide opportunities for children and families with the facilities and resources we have available. But the truth is, we have simply outgrown our current building. The demand for youth sports, community programs, tournaments, practices, events, and recreational opportunities continues to grow, and we knew it was time to dream bigger.
This new facility will give our community the space it needs to grow.
The new St. Clairsville Recreation facility will feature four basketball courts, four volleyball courts, eight indoor pickleball courts, outdoor and indoor restrooms, providing opportunities for children, adults, families, and athletes of all ages. The facility will also include a fully ADA-compliant community room, creating a new space for meetings, community events, programs, and gatherings.
This would not have been possible without the tremendous support of St. Clairsville City Council, City Administration, Unified Bank, Congressman Mike Rulli, Senator Brian Chavez, State Representative Ty Moore, and the many businesses, organizations, families, and private donors who believed in this project and helped make it a reality.
To every person who has donated, supported, advocated, encouraged, or simply believed in what we were trying to accomplish — thank you.
The St. Clairsville Recreation Department has always believed that recreation is about more than sports. It is about bringing people together and making our community a better place to live, work, raise a family, and grow.
This is a new chapter for St. Clairsville Recreation — and we cannot wait to share it with our community.
