Save the Date! Join us on Saturday September 12th at 5:30pm in Roanoke Park for our annual Dance In The Park!

Come see City in Motion Dance Theater perform at this month's "Summer in the City" in Oppenstein Park (11th and Walnut) on Thursday June 18th, at 6pm! There are fun activities all day but we perform our first set of dances at 6pm, and a second set at around 7pm. The theme is "Home", and choreography is by Ann Shaughnessy and dancers: Margaret Gordon, Allay Lu Freeman, Elease McFall, Aili McFall, Selah Thompson, and Sonja Schulz. Hope to see you there!

Help us get the GRANT! CIM is currently competing for a grant from local law firm, Foster Wallace Personal Injury Lawyers. The more online nominations we receive, the more likely we are to earn the $3,000 grant. This only takes a minute to complete and would mean the world to us!

Arts News: Keeping tap dance alive in KC – KC STUDIO Opportunities to experience tap may seem limited in the KC area, but June 2 brings a great opportunity when Priscilla & Dana’s School of Dance takes the stage at the Music Hall.

This Wednesday, May 20th, join us for HamBINGO fun while supporting City in Motion Dance Theater! Hosted by some of KC’s most fabulous drag queens, this is not your typical “church basement bingo!” Join us for a night of FUNdraising, Bingo, Food, Drinks, & STELLAR PRIZES at Kansas City’s finest, Hamburger Mary’s!

Hambingo fills UP! We highly recommend RSVP’ing with Hamburger Mary’s directly by reserving a table for you and your pals in advance. We’ll be getting started at 7 PM, so grab a 6:30 reservation and we’ll see you there!
