Bacardians started off 2014 Cricket Season with a thumping first match win over KC Hawks in CKS tournament. Losing the toss, and asked to bat, KC Hawks started off with very well with a score of 82 in the first 7 overs, however Bacardians came back very well to restrict Hawks to 133 for the lose of 7 wickets. Piyush and Rajan grabbed two wickets each, Bimal and Vineet one wicket each.

Chasing the big target, Bacardians started off the cruise with an awesome start powered by the 41 from Sarin and 13 from Anish. the chase went well but lost Rajan scoring 30 when the target was around run a ball and had some minor hiccups towards the end. However, the cool headed Gautham chased it well with a brisk 34; with 4 needed on the last ball, he steered the ball to third man boundary sealing a great win with a beautiful chase!

Good win, and a good start for the season!!

Brilliant performance to become the second best out of the 16 teams in the whole league matches!!

(Bacardians completed the leagues matches with just 1 loss, and second to the league toppers only based on net run rate)
