🚒 LADIES, WORRIED YOUR UPPER BODY STRENGTH WON’T BE ENOUGH TO PASS THE CPAT?
Especially when it comes to the ladder raise, forcible entry, and ceiling breach?
Here’s what every future female firefighter needs to know. 👇
The CPAT is NOT a max-strength contest. 🚫
It’s about functional strength, proper technique, and the endurance to keep moving when your body gets tired.
Here’s what actually matters:
💪 Press overhead — Build strength for ladder raises and ceiling breaches.
🚒 Row and pull — Develop the pulling power needed for hose work.
🦵 Train your legs and hips — They’re critical for the stair climb, dummy drag, and ladder raise.
🎥 Film your reps — Fix your technique. Repeat until the movements feel automatic.
🧠 Train your mental endurance — Staying calm under pressure is a skill you can develop.
And ladies, remember this:
YOUR GENDER DOESN’T DISQUALIFY YOU FROM PASSING THE CPAT. 🔥
You don’t need to be the strongest candidate in the room.
You need to train for what the test actually demands.
Stop comparing yourself to everyone else.
Compare yourself to where you were last month. 💯
That’s exactly what we focus on inside my CPAT Confidence Blueprint.
