Glute burnout!!! The further away the band, the harder it gets. To modify to make this easier, move the band around ankles!! And even easier, around knees!!
Stretch your shoulders!!!!
Diminished shoulder mobility can cause pain, affect your posture, and limit your ability to do certain things and can eventually lead to injury. Keep your shoulders, chest and scapula healthy by doing some mobility exercises!!
People who played baseball growing up, electricians who have their arms above their heads all day long, women carrying around babies, etc....these people all engage in what is called repetitive movement patterns and are why we need to stretch our shoulders daily!! Repetitive movements day in and day out will eventually change the length of your muscles and lead to a muscular imbalance. Try these to loosen up those shoulders!!
Great way to work all parts of glutes, hips and upper leg!! Can easily be done at home or gym. I call them leg circles. Put a loop band around your ankle, bend over (to take pressure off your lower back, ge sure to keep core engaged), grab something for stability and do 10 reps one way, then 10 the other. Repeat with other leg!! Your glutes will be burning!!

Hi yall!!! If anyone needs nutritious recipe ideas, I have many! Here is one of my go-tos for meal prepping! I keep the cauliflower rice separate from the rest until right before I heat it up! Aldi has steam bags of cauliflower rice which cuts down on some of the prep!

The gym where I train (and train my clients) is taking every precaution possible to try to prevent the spread of covid to staff and members, but if you are still uncomfortable with the idea of working out at the gym, that's ok!! Were in the business of helping people. Here is an idea of how to take an exercise you would do at the gym and transform it into a home workout!! All you need is a band! 4 ways to use resistance bands for home workouts!! I love being outside so I anchored mine to a tree branch when needed, but you can also tie a knot in them and shut it in the top of a door!! Hopefully we can all get back to the gym soon!! Ig: suzy_fahrm for more outdoor workouts!
Have a set of stairs available? Here are 3 things you can do with stairs: sprints, skip 1 or 2 steps, and squat steps! Do 3 reps of each. 1 rep = up and down the stairs! High calorie burn! Do the squat steps with or without a band
Sometimes u have to get creative.... if you dont have a laundry basket, use a grocery sack cans! Rona can't keep us down!
Just because your gym is closed doesnt mean you can't work out! At a time when were stuck at home, our lack of movement will eventually cause problems with sleep, restlessness, mood, etc. Do 4 rounds of 10 of each of these exercises. For the exercises where a band is used, do it without if you dont have one! Your body and brain will thank you!
