Five Rings Fencing

Fencers who attend my Académie Lafayette practices, we have tonight, Wednesday the 20th, and Wednesday the 27th. And then we are out for the summer. We start again either August 26th or September 2. By that time the inevitable new school year evening meet and greets should be done.

KC fencers: Academie Lafayette is closing early today because of possible storm activity. Because of this we will not have practice tonight. Have a safe and happy weekend and we’ll see you next week!

We wish to thank our growing Lawrence group. And in response, starting next week, we shall meet Tuesdays AND Thursdays from 7-8:30.

Spring break is next week. No fencing at Academie Lafayette for the week. Fencing in Lawrence next Tuesday as usual.

The Kansas Division is bringing you an armorer's clinic with Chris Green Dec 13-14. I believe that the first day will be primarily about maintaining weapons and personal equipment and you are welcome to join just for the one day. No fencing Tuesday, September 30th. Sorry. I’m performing with Jambaroque at the Lawrence Arts Center at 7:00pm. It’s part of the free Tuesday concert series.

Just a reminder that our regular practice schedule at Academie Lafayette resumes on Wednesday, August 27. We’ll be fencing Wed & Fri from 6:30-8:30. If you’re arriving after 7pm please message us so that someone can let you in. Hope to see you there!
