"Modify before you quit.", Coach Paula

Helping a student with knee pain modify curtsy lunges. In the process everyone is learning the importance of stretching and strengthening the muscles around the iliotibial band aka the IT band. Curtsy lunges do both. When the IT band gets too tight, it can cause pain by rubbing against bony structures at the knee or hip causing inflammation and pain. But definitely consult a medical professional first before resuming a fitness regimen.

Good morning! Happy Sunday β™₯️. Im so excited for the SGPT Kickboxing session that starts tomorrow, June 1st. We will alternate 3 minute boxing rounds with boxology technique and strength training. Meaning 3 minutes of shadow fighting then 3 minutes of strength training for 10 rounds πŸ’ͺ🏿 πŸ‘πŸΏ. Will be an awesome way to spend lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays. And an overall great opportunity to boost metabolism! If you can make the 1230p live classes, recordings are available.

What is SGPT? This is online Small Group Personal Training. Register for a 2-week session with 4 classes, save money and have access to class recordings and my private WhatsApp group.
