Been in the gym shooting videos for some projects I’m working on. I’ve been lacking a little motivation but still working as always. Sometimes I have to remind myself where I am, where I came from, and how far I’ve come. The end goal is always the same for me, because I started with nothing, now I have and will always have something that keeps me going.🤘🏽
Grateful for the people I’ve had around me and for the support. Life throws you lemons and you either make lemonade or complain about the bitterness of them 🍋🍋

Self improvement is always the goal.
Whether it’s stretching, trying to lift more, trying to move better, or just vetting my thoughts and perspectives to make sure they are clear and not biased.
I fully understand that there is no Right or Wrong, the only thing that counts in the end is, Am I satisfied?
Am I satisfied with the results of my daily actions and/or thoughts?
If im not satisfied, what is it I can do today to start the process of change?

The only way to increase muscle mass, gain strength and to burn fat is to PUSH yourself passed your comfort zone.
How does food and exercise go together?? It’s almost like a car. You need the right amount of food (Gas) for the drive, and eating your veggies is like your oil. The difference is, you need veggies (Oil) every day, but in life, we don’t put oil in our car every day, so, let’s keep it simple...
In this car (Our body) we'll put a little bit of oil (Veggies) in every day. Think of your body as a high-power car, and even though you don't have to put oil in every day, that little bit of oil will help your car (body) perform better and more efficiently.
YOUR BODY IS YOUR BODY!

Did you know?...
1️⃣ Dietary Fats provide us with energy (it's the most energy-dense macronutrient).
2️⃣ It helps balance hormones, particularly our steroid hormones (SUCH AS YOUR S*X HORMONES).
Lastly...
3️⃣ It forms our brain and nervous system.
Sources of dietary fats include:
- Nuts and Seeds (Of Course)
- Eggs
- Fatty Fish
- Poultry
- Avocados
- Olives and Extra Olive Oil etc.
If you're feeling drained of energy and you're getting adequate sleep at night, it could be your diet and routine that's causing that fatigue.

I train different…
For me it’s always been about the challenge of my endurance, how long and hard can I push myself without doing irreversible damage.

Working out to me is like a physical form of life. It's full of obstacles, doubts, insecurities, and limitations.

It's also full of opportunities, growth, self-confidence, and perseverance.
•

I mean, if you're losing the game, what more do you have to lose from trying to win?..
WORKOUT:
Set a 2-minute timer with a 1-Minute break. Complete 15 DB Push Press reps with the right arm, then switch to the left arm. As soon as you finish that complete 15 Med Ball slam. You have 2 minutes to complete the full amount of reps. If you finish before the break, start over. If you don’t, where you stop of where you will continue on the next round. Complete 3 rounds.

Did you know?...
Fasting for weight loss only slows your metabolism, causing your body to release fat more stubbornly. When that happens whenever you do decide to break your fast with your favorite meal, that meal is going to digest slower because you body is still in survival mode trying to preserve energy.
ANOTHER UNPOPULAR TRUTH 🗣
Fat burner products don’t work!
- When you take a fat burner it releases the hormones epinephrine and norepinephrine, these hormones stimulate lipid mobilization (basically when those hormones are up, they tell your body to release fatty acids into the bloodstream.)
But…
When these fatty acids are released, they are for energy purposes while you're in “fight or flight mode.” These hormones suppress appetite and other bodily functions which is why we aren't hungry while scared.
AGAIN BUT…
If your not using that energy when it’s released, it just goes back to where it came from.
If you want to burn fat take a fat burner or maybe a cup of coffee before your workout. Coffee, fat burners or performance drinks with caffeine are ergogenics that boosts performance, but you have to perform for it to work.
IN THE END...
If you decide to use a fat burner or fast from a diet make sure its strategic.
QUICK TIPS
1️⃣ During your fasting, when you do eat, focus on protein-dense lean meats and/or a plant-based protein substitute to help you feel full longer.
2️⃣ if you're using a fat burner, use it before your gym session, jog or walk.
