Battle of the Bean 5K

Congratulations to everyone who participated in a chilly Battle of the Bean 5K this morning! Thanks to Red Bridge Shopping Center for hosting us and to all of the great volunteers who also braved the elements to make sure things went smoothly and safely! Thanks to our charity partner, Growing Futures Early Education Center, and to Crows Coffee and Caleb’s Cafe for the cocoa and hot chocolate! When parking for the race on Saturday, please don’t park in the US Bank parking lot near Holmes, or the CVS parking lot. Please also don’t fill the spaces adjacent to the storefronts of businesses at the center, so their customers can get to them easily, especially Caleb’s and Crow’s, who are being so supportive of the event! (The red line on the north side of the grocery store is the start/finish and the blue line is packet pickup.)

Don't forget that we are having a drawing for two $25 Running Well Store gift cards as part of the in person packet pick up on Friday from 3-6pm at their store at 200 East 135th Street in Martin City! You must pick up your packet on Friday for a chance to win.

Blue Bike Fitness will once again open their doors on race morning to race participants who want to stretch somewhere warm or avoid the porta pottie lines to use the restroom! They are just steps away from the starting line!

Packet pickup information

Don’t wait until race morning to pick up your packet! Stop by the Running Well Store in Martin City on Friday, January 16 to get your packet between 3-6pm and you could win a $25 gift card from the store! Only those who pick up their packet in person at the store will be eligible to win!
