A great time to spotlight Coach Joe! He’s been coaching with the club for over 30 years and is a huge part of what we built across both the boy’s and girl’s sides of the program.

Selfless, impactful and encouraging describe Coach Joe. He’s also got a passion for the sport and a unique gift to connect with athletes. Additionally, Coach Joe has engineered a system that has produced numerous individual state champions and and is ingrained in the 23 consecutive state team titles (boys) and the 4 consecutive state team titles (girls).

Thank you for leading, inspiring and cementing a legacy within youth sports and most importantly- Greater Heights Wrestling!

He embraces the climb daily as a police officer and public servant to the community. We love and appreciate Coach Joe!

This Sunday, we’ll celebrate another outstanding season at our Greater Heights Youth Banquet!

This year, Greater Heights captured Missouri USA Wrestling Team State Championships in both the boys’ and girls’ divisions, along with a top-three overall team finish in Kansas.

Club athletes’ meals are covered by Greater Heights. Families, please send your prepayment for all other guest meals:

Children ages 3–12: $10
Adults and ages 13+: $18

Please remember to bring your own drinks and if you feel inclined to bring a dessert then we’ll create a dessert potluck for the club to share.

Join us for a 3 week session to grow your wrestling skills before season, or try the sport for the first time.

Sessions will be co-ed. Join one of the Midwest’s best developmental systems to take your athlete’s skills to the next level.

2026 GHW End of Season Banquet

We’re excited to be back after a short break following Fargo! Tonight GHW Preseason Training gets rolling with a full week of practices next week.

This training is aimed at youth (age 7-14), middle and high school wrestlers with at least one year of experience. For those without experience, we will be hosting some clinics that will allow athletes to get their feet wet prior to the start of the official season in November. We’ll also have some opportunities for our 4-6 year old wrestlers coming down the pike. Keep an eye out for those on our socials!

Preseason Training Starts This Thursday at Hyvee Arena from 6-7:30pm! Information as to other practice locations, fees, tournament schedule, etc., can be obtained by emailing [email protected] or sending a DM including your email address.

Preseason registration can be completed on our website at www.ghwrestling.com. Drop in opportunities are also available as but require a drop-in registration which is located on the website. $20 per athlete is the drop-in fee.
