The United States Tennis Association Missouri Valley (USTA) is collaborating with Just One Day Travel Tours to offer a special combo tour starting with Red Ball Tennis at the Plaza Tennis Center.
Red Ball Tennis is a beginner-friendly, high-energy version of the sport played on a 36-foot court with oversized, low-compression balls and smaller racquets. Equipment will be provided.
After trying your hand at Red Ball Tennis, we will start the Plaza tour. Energy snacks and water provided to fill your tumblers to get the tour started. Stroll through the Country Club Plaza as you uncover the stories behind its stunning architecture, hidden details, and cultural influence. From its Spanish-inspired design to its role in shaping Kansas City, this tour brings the Plaza to life in a whole new way.

So much grace, grit, power, and sportsmanship from the 18 and under boys that played in the L2 National Championship Tournament at the Plaza Tennis Center over the weekend.

Tournament Director Scott Hanover reported that 16 different states were represented and we had two amazing players from USTA Missouri Valley.

It was great tennis to watch!
