Jr Blues alumni Kade Williams and Kade Giegerich at the post match after the Army vs Navy rugby match a few weeks back. Senior, Kade Williams took down Army’s top side for his 4th year in a row leading the team from the fly half position, while Freshman, Kade Giegerich battled it out with the Army 2nd side vs Navy 2nd side. Extremely proud of these two young men performing at the highest levels of rugby in the USA and their commitment to the greater good. We can’t wait to see what lies ahead for these two Kade’s.

Join us in wishing our own Kellen Giegerich or Lil’ G as he’s known around our club on a Happy Transplant Day! Kellen curated this vision board with the crest front and center. Heart of lion and eye of the tiger he’ll be back on the rugby pitch in no time!

Kellen has a rare genetic condition called IPEX (Immune dysregulation, Polyendocrinopathy, Enteropathy, X-Linked Syndrome) which causes the immune system to attack the body resulting in Type 1 Diabetes, GI and thyroid disease, skin disorders and a host of other autoimmune issues.

Lil G is pursuing stem cell/bone marrow transplant which offers him the only known treatment for this disorder with the goal of preventing further damage to his body and additional autoimmune diagnoses.

You got this Lil G! Keep running that hill dawg!
