Congratulations to Eli for his outstanding day at the Park's tournament in St. Louis yesterday. He made the school proud and even got to participate in his first Grand Champion division!!

All students: It has been Master Thomas's great privilege to work with ALL of you. Continue to pursue self improvement. If you continue with martial arts in any form, let us know. Let's keep a network of each other dedicated to celebrating our successes and supporting each other through setbacks. Let this page be a place where we can check up on one another and as Master Yang would say, "Keep kicking!!"

Emerald had a very successful tournament yesterday. Each athlete received at least one first place finish. Results are great but we are truly proud of the work that our students put in EACH day which allows them to achieve such results.

Registration forms for the tournament on 4/22 are in. Please talk to Instructor Thomas ASAP if you want to compete.

Parents and Students: Our school will be closed on Monday 4/10. We will resume our regular schedule on Tuesday the 11th. If any sparring students reach out to Instructor Thomas and want to get a sparring session in later in the week to make up for Monday we will make that happen. But remember; closed mouths don't get fed!!

There is something exciting about opening the doors while training. If you've done it, then you already know.

Current students: Yang Masters UTC in Olathe is hosting a form seminar this Friday and next Friday at their location from 5:00-6:30 each night. $49 gains you access to both nights and the seminar is run by their guest instructor who is a Korean high school national champion!!! If you want to greatly improve your form please don't miss this opportunity. These chance don't come around very often.

We're BACK!!! The entire regular class schedule resumes today. Open class at 5:15 and sparring at 6:15. Tournaments will start happening around February and go pretty strong (if you're willing to travel) through early summer.

Remember students!! The school is closed this week. We resume our regular schedule on January 2nd. Happy Holidays to all!!!

Instructor Thomas is in the building this morning so testing will proceed as scheduled.... HOWEVER, do not feel pressured to be here today. With the current road conditions and expected snowfall this afternoon any student who wishes to make up their test later this week before or after regular class will be permitted to do so WITHOUT any makeup testing fees. Please use your best judgement and if you do decide to attend this morning please note that the parking lot and entry to the building is also VERY slippery, we wouldn't want you to get here safely in the car just to bust something walking up to the building. :)

Students: Please remember our school will not have classes on Thursday or Friday this week. Enjoy your time with you families and be thankful!!
