Bring a pillow and blanket and a comfy chair and let’s do the time warp again. There's no crime in giving yourself over to pleasure.

Theatre Changed History

Throughout history, Black theatre has been a powerful form of resistance.

Long before many voices were welcomed in mainstream entertainment, Black playwrights and performers used the stage to celebrate culture, confront injustice, preserve history, and imagine a better future.

Theatre has always been more than entertainment.
It has been education.
It has been activism.
It has been community.

Thank you for helping BRTKC continue that tradition.

Happy Pride everyone. This space only exists because a couple of qu**rs got brave enough to live life out loud and wanted to invest back into the arts community in the city they love. 🌈🌈
