Tim Wi**er, Grady Cash, Salih Talib, and Gary Patton ran the 4 X 800 relay at the USATF Missouri Valley Association Masters Championships at Cessna Stadium in Wichita on September 29. The team lowered the record about 12 seconds with a time of 10:51.08. This is the same SoCal group that broke the indoor 4 X 800 relay Club record at the USATF Indoor National Championship meet in Landover, MD in March.

SoCal ran against a high-quality team of runners from Kansas City including Steve Daley, Rick Hughey, Randy McDermott, and Gayle Van Durme.

There are two XC meets scheduled for MVA. The 1st meet is Saturday, November 3rd at Johnson County Commumity College. The 2nd and final MVA XC Championships meet will be on Saturday, November 17th at Swope Park.
