Congratulations to 3 Lady Warriors on making the All State Academic team! Part of being a Warrior is putting in the work - classroom, community, and field!

Wanted to send out a reminder about the youth baseball camp next week and thank everyone for signing up for the camp.

Also wanted to let everyone know and apologize, but we have to change the dates of the camp for next week. Instead of going Monday 6/1-Thursday 6/4, we are going to go Tuesday 6/2-Friday 6/5.

I know this might affect some people if you are going out of town on Friday for games. I will distribute the T-shirts on Thursday so everyone will have them before they leave if they cannot attend on Friday. I am sorry about this change, but we are not able to get on the field on Monday. If you have any questions, please email me. See everyone on Tuesday, June 2nd.

Congratulations to junior Cannon Cruse on an outstanding performance at the Track & Field State Championships! He placed 6th in the long jump, earning All-State honors.

Warriors Fall To Platte County Varsity In Low-Scoring Affair

Both teams were strong on the bump on Thursday, but Platte County Varsity was just a little bit stronger at the plate in their 2-0 victory over the Warriors. Henry Bertoncin started the game for the Warriors and recorded 18 outs.

Platte County Varsity got on the board in the third inning after Brennan McLaughlin hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.

McLaughlin earned the win for Platte County Varsity. The starter surrendered three hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out nine and walking one. Bertoncin took the loss for the Warriors. The starting pitcher went six innings, allowing two runs on three hits, striking out seven, and walking one.

Logan Latier, Tavian Ladenthein, and Cooper Schergen each collected one hit for the Warriors.

The season ends for the Warriors in the district semi-finals. The Warriors ended the season with a record of 20-8 with key wins over Lee's Summit North, Grain Valley, Blue Springs, and Liberty. Thank you to all the families, students, and players for the support and dedication this year.

Kate Sell and Frannie Hess with assists. The Lady Warriors move onto the quarterfinal game and they await to see who their opponent will be between Sion and St. Michaels. Great job Lady Warriors.
