For the last four weeks my right knee has been killing me.
I could barely walk till now
Where I'm in severe pain but i can limp around.
Today is friday i layed up all day.
Was going to cancel class.
But i decided to have class. I spent most of it sitting.
But i decided to take my class to dinner and then,fun factory.
I love my kids they are all special to me.
If for one minute i thought that the karate i teach could not one day save thier life
I would not teach it.
Spending this time with Chayden, Viktor, Suisho,Maya,Logan.
Made me enjoy my time and for a few hours i forgot my pain.
I laughed and realized how blessed i am and the innocence of these special children .
How loving they are to me.
Thier hugs and words of care
Was all the medicine i needed.
I share this one moment with you because it touched me so deeply.
One of my students Logan ate
His food.
But saved some when i asked him was he going to eat it later.
HE SAID NO I'M TAKING IT HOME TO SHARE WITH MY MOM.
NOW I KNOW HIS MOM AND DAD ARE DOING JUST FINE FINANCIALLY.BUT IT SHOWED
ME THAT THE CHILDREN OF HAWAII ARE SO SPECIAL.
I HAVE SEEN THIS OVER AND OVER AGAIN THE KIDS HERE JUST KNOW HOW TO SHARE .
ONE OF MY VIRTUES IS WE COLTIVATE OUR FRIENDSHIPS.
AND OUR RELATIONSHIPS.
AND I SEE IT,OVER AGAIN IN
MY CLASS.
I AM TEACHING THEM BUT I AM LEARNING SO MUCH MORE I'M SO BLESSED BY ALL OF THEM.
TO THE PARENTS THANK YOU
FOR ENTRUSTING YOUR CHILDREN TO ME.
I LOVE THEM DEARLY.
