Yo Jing Swim Acadamy Yo Jing Swim Academy was founded in April 2010 by Chinese National Swim Team coach, Coach Yi.

Yo Jing came to Houston and expanded into the Katy/Fulshear & Cypress area. In 2018, Yo Jing brought its advanced training skills, scientific management methods, and professional coach team to Houston, TX to serve local communities. Yo Jing established Katy, Houston, Sugar Land schools in the Greater Houston Area in less than one year. Yo Jing is dedicated to fostering the sport of competitive swimming and other aquatic activities in the Greater Houston Area. Yo Jing is proudly collaborating with Katy ISD, Houston Baptist University, Swim Houston, and 24 Hour Fitness.

Ever wondered why swimmers use fins during practice? 💡

Fins are a training tool that can help swimmers focus on and feel certain movements.

Fins can help swimmers develop:
- Leg strength
- A more effective kick
- Body position & technique

Of course, the purpose of fins can depend on the drill, the swimmer, and coach.

We don’t just tell them what to do but show them HOW so they are able to feel the correct technique. Eventually they will be able to do it on their own.
