Dear KIPS Families and Students,

Katy KIPS would like to thank EVERY family and EVERY student for their dedication to the sport and their loyalty to KIPS for 42 years. We know well that this is a hard time for many people, and we wish nothing but the best for everyone.

As you know, with all gyms closed by state order due to COVID-19, we are unable to open at this time. Additionally, we know this has been a very hard economic impact on our KIPS families, and we must certainly take that into account as well.

So, because of this closure and the ongoing gym restrictions, KIPS cannot remain in business at the current location. and we will be unable to open for the foreseeable future.

Some key points to take note of:
a. Katy KIPS Gymnastics Club location on Mason Rd. will be closing its doors effective immediately.
b. Families with an overdue balance will be cleared of charges
c. Team refunds for competition season will be handled by the Booster Club

We would love each of you to continue your gymnastics dedication and love of the sport. Please consider one of these local gyms to continue your passion.

Katy ISD has announced this afternoon they will be extending Spring Break as a precautionary measure. To help parents, children, and families, Katy KIPS will be extending Gymnastics Day Camp for families next week from Monday 3/16 to Friday 3/20.

We know parents are concerned about too many children, so we are limiting space to no more than 20 children per day. Sign Up at www.KatyKIPS.com to ensure your spot is reserved.

We want you know that we are taking every precaution to ensure your family's health and wellness at KIPS. Although we already have regular and thorough cleaning of the gym, Katy KIPS is arranging more cleaning with our service providers during this time. We ask that students or family members who exhibit any possible symptoms to stay home and rest. Absences from class due to illness will be considered excused and the office staff will make every effort to allow a make-up class on Saturday mornings in the coming weeks.

We are 42 Years Strong in Katy, and we, like you all and Katy, will continue and come out stronger.
