WHAT A WEEKEND FOR TEXAS CORE BASEBALL! 🔥
Four of our teams took the field
•12U Revels, 12U Cello, 10U Alexander (Sunday DH), and 10U Shaw (Sunday DH) — and together they went 11-3 on the weekend! 👏🏼
Our boys showed HEART, GRIT, and a whole lot of NEVER QUIT. We saw incredible pitching across the board, huge defensive plays, and some BIG comebacks.
And we HAVE to talk about that TRIPLE PLAY by 10U Alexander!
We have high standards and high expectations at Texas Core- for ourselves, our players, and our families. And they are set.
And there is a reason for it.
Everything is intentional.
Practices are planned around continuing to develop our players, correcting the struggles we saw the weekend before, building on their strengths, and constantly pushing them to become better baseball players AND better teammates.
And it doesn’t stop when practice ends.
We challenge our players outside of practice with expectations, accountability, and baseball homework.
Development happens when players are willing to put in the EXTRA work, are coachable, and hold themselves to a higher standard. We expect that from every player, at every level, on every team. No excuses.
This weekend was another reminder that..THE WORK IS WORKING.
We are incredibly proud of the program we are building, but even more proud of the players, families, and coaches who make Texas Core what it is.
Our coaches are pouring their knowledge, time, energy, and heart into these boys. Our families continue to show up, support, encourage, and trust us. Our players continue to be accountable, put in the EXTRA work, compete, and be coachable.
That combination is special.
Congratulations to ALL of our teams! Y’all showed up and SHOWED OUT! You should be incredibly proud of yourselves, we sure are.
As always, thank you to our players and families for trusting us and to our incredible coaches for continuing to help us build something special.
We couldn’t do this without y’all.
