One can do any shapes from the body within individual range of flexibility but that shape can become asana only when it allows the subtle energy flow. Ancient sages have blessed us with asanas that have benefits at the body and mind levels after examining effects of that body shape on body, mind and subtle energy flow for many many years 🙏

By proper practice of prānāyama or breathing techniques, all diseases are eradicated. But improper practice can give rise to all diseases.
When we practice breathing, all the related rules need to be followed to activate prānic energy in order to avoid malfunctioning at the physical level.
