As we lose muscle we lose strength
As we lose strength we lose range of motion
As we lose range of motion we lose mobility
As we lose mobility we lose balance

Then our independence and our ability to do all the things we love.

It’s a downhill spiral if we don’t act.

You have a choice to have life be very difficult later or a choice to start doing simple things now to improve your situation.

Don’t give up. It’s never too late.

Stay strong. Stay mobile. Stay young.

The other issue I see is acceptance. Often people will share a laundry list of ailments and end it with- but I’m okay, or so not too bad.

The brain is a tricky thing, it wants to keep you safe by keeping you comfortable in survival mode.

This means it’s often anti change.

We have folks in their 90s get stronger and move better by implementing simple to execute muscle challenges.

You are the only reason why you can’t. When you should be the reason you can.

It’s possible- I see it every day.

Exercise doesn’t need to be daunting and embarrassing- exercise is about improvement- longevity, brain health, body function etc

NOT Competition. It’s the study of one. You got this.

💪👨‍🦱 But, it's crucial to customize exercises based on an individual's body, anatomy, and joint abilities.

🚫🤕 Assessments should not be risky or limited by anatomy knowledge.

🗣️🤝 Instead, they should discuss what an individual can do and handle, considering factors.

📈👉 Customizing exercises based on an individual's capabilities will lead to progress, little by little.

One of the quick and easy meals I’ve been doing lately is this Buffalo Chicken done in a crock pot.

It’s so easy and it tastes really good. It’s also pretty simple to stick with.

The ingredients are: 3 lbs of chicken, a container of cottage cheese around 16 oz, and one bottle of Buffalo Sauce.

All you really have to do is insert all the ingredients in the crock pot, cook for 4-8 hours depending on the temperature, and how fast your cooker cooks, and you’re all done.

As for tallying up the nutrients, just take the entire amount of chicken, cottage cheese, and buffalo sauce, divide it out by the meals and you’ll get your exact nutrients.

It’ll be close enough for you to establish what your weekly intake is going to be from that meal.

Have you ever noticed how our associations with certain foods can change over time?

🏋️‍♂️ I used to be really into bodybuilding and lifting, and I associated things like cheeseburgers, pizza, and alcohol with pain and discomfort.
The thought of eating them grossed me out because I knew they would make me feel bloated and interfere with my workouts.

🚀 But fast forward a few years, and I'm no longer in that space. Now, when I'm stressed out from my entrepreneurial journey, I find comfort in those same foods.

🤯 It's amazing how our associations can shift like that, isn't it?

Working with a professional can result in faster, more efficient, and safer progress toward your goals.

It's interesting how we invest in things like cars and air conditioning, but when it comes to our own bodies, we often try to figure it out on our own. However, doing so may end up costing more time and potentially leading to medical issues. It's better to do it right the first time.
