F3 Lone Star - The Spigot/SOTS

Sharing a meal together at our Holiday party with our extended F3 family was truly heartwarming! Delicious food, refreshing drinks, and great company made it feel like a big, warm hug. Wishing you happy holidays from the brothers at The Spigot/Shadows of the Spigot.

PAX from across F3 Lone Star packed the gloom, crushed the beatdown, and proved again what happens when HIM rally around Fitness, Fellowship, and Faith.​

Grateful for this new region, stronger shields, and a brotherhood that keeps raising the bar. SYITG.

We are thrilled to have kicked off Movember with our 2nd Annual Men's Health Mowdown!

Last Sunday, 14 HIM from F3 Lone Star got together at Ara's Barbershop for an awesome 2nd F (Fellowship) and 3rd F (Purpose) event. Some of us lost some hair, and some (like -Boom) are committing to growing it out , all to raise awareness for men's health.

Why do we do this??

- On average, men die 6 years earlier than women.

- 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer .

- 1 man dies by su***de every minute globally .

A massive thank you to Clippers and Ara's Barbershop for hosting us again! You handled the larger-than-expected crowd like a champ.

Twelve hearts. One mission. 💪✨

Yesterday, our F3 family, spearheaded by Nowandlater, came together in partnership with Katy Responds to support a local widow rebuilding after Harvey.

We rallied early, brought our best energy (plus coffee!), and proved that real impact starts with a willingness to serve.

From recruiting extra hands and organizing rides, to lending tools and sharing laughs, encouragement, and coffee, this crew showed what community is all about.

Special thanks to Katy Responds for leading the way and to Nowandlater for his vision and leadership.

We’re grateful to everyone who grabbed a tool, cheered us on, or simply brought the camaraderie that makes F3 and The Spigot
/SOTS special. Together, we made a home safer and helped a neighbor feel seen.

Ever show up to a workout and wonder what in the world we're talking about? You're not alone! Here's a quick guide to some of the most common F3 terms to get you started.

🗣️ PAX: The men at the workout. That's you!
📍 AO (Area of Operation): The location where a workout takes place.
💪 Beat Down (BD): An F3 workout.
📣 Q: The leader of a specific workout.
🛌 Fart Sack (FS): The siren song of a warm bed. Choosing to post with your brothers instead is called "punching the Fart Sack in the face."
🤝 EH (Emotional Headlock): The effort you put in to bring a new guy out to his first workout.
📝 BackBlast (BB): The workout summary posted by the Q after every Beat Down.

A Little History:
F3 started in 2011 in Charlotte, NC, and has since grown into a nationwide movement. Our local region has seen incredible growth, evolving from F3 Houston (2016) to F3 Katy, F3 FTX, and as of April 2025, F3 Lone Star (LTX)! We are proud to be part of a network of over 50,000 High Impact Men across the country.
