This one means a lot. 💙
When Ruthie first started training with us, a warm up called for a 20 second bar hang.
She couldn’t hang from the bar yet. She had to keep her feet on the ground for support, and it frustrated her.
So she turned that frustration into a goal.
Week by week, her hangs got longer until she could finally hang on her own.
Yesterday, we introduced the kip swing.
One coaching cue clicked:
The movement comes from the shoulders, not the legs.
And just like that, she got it.
Her first kip swing. 💙
From needing her feet on the ground to this.
Ruthie, we are so proud of you.
