🦃🏃 GET TURKEY TROT READY!
Whether you’re planning to race the 5K or enjoy the 1-Mile Fun Run, a little preparation now can make Thanksgiving morning a lot more enjoyable!
👟 Start walking or running regularly. Even 20–30 minutes a few times a week can help build endurance.
🔥 Warm up before you go. Try a brisk walk, leg swings and other dynamic movements to get your muscles ready.
🧘 Stretch after your workout. Focus on your calves, hamstrings, quads and hips.
💧 Stay hydrated. Don’t wait until race day to start thinking about water.
😴 Give yourself recovery days. Your body needs time to rest and rebuild.
Most importantly, go at your own pace. You don’t have to be a serious runner to be part of the Kaufman Turkey Trot!
