Junior Attendants assist with concessions and customer service, operate point-of-sale systems, stock inventory, help keep the facility clean and organized, and assist with event and program setup and breakdown.

📢 Kearney SportsPlex Annual Maintenance Closure Notice

The Kearney SportsPlex will be closed on Monday, August 10, and Tuesday, August 11, for our annual facility maintenance. During this time, the entire facility will be closed.

In addition, the SportsPlex Gymnasium will remain closed from Monday, August 10, through Monday, August 24, to complete additional maintenance. Gym rentals and drop-in play will resume on Tuesday, August 25.

Beginning Wednesday, August 12, the following areas will reopen and remain available for use:

Turf
Indoor Track
Pickleball Courts

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete our annual maintenance to keep the SportsPlex safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Reminder of Upcoming July Toddler Time Closures!

Please note that a new closure date has been added, July 14th, due to unexpected turf maintenance.

We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we balance turf events, maintenance, and drop-in!

Let's celebrate America's birthday early at the SportsPlex! Since the facility is closed on Friday, July 3rd, the Castle Inflatable Bounce House will be set up during Thursday, July 2nd's Toddler Time!

Today is also HOKA Demo Day at the SportsPlex from 9 am to 11 am. Be sure to stop out and visit the amazing staff from Sporting Edge to try on some new walking or running shoes.

The Kearney SportsPlex will host the first-ever MAYB Summer Youth (Boys & Girls) Basketball Tournament in Kearney on July 18-19!

MAYB operates and organizes youth basketball tournaments all throughout the Midwest, and we are excited for them to bring their high-level tournaments to the SportsPlex (only other Nebraska location is in Omaha)!
