Hunted hard all week trying to get close to a South Dakota Muley. The weather, the encounters, and the failures all added in to staying one extra morning and getting it done in overtime at 3 YARDS… not exaggerating!

One of the craziest and most exciting things I’ve ever done Bowhunting and I’m so thankful for my biggest Mule Deer! This is a buck we ended up calling “Double Wide” all week and it felt impossible to get close to him.

I want to give a massive shout out to the amazing people at Rolling Bones Outdoors for the invite to South Dakota and making the WCB crew feel apart of their family.

I’ve had a rough go so far in 2026 with a major injury that I’m still struggling with physically, especially last week on this hunt but we did it!
