Hey I have some fun news. Scott Stokely is coming to Otter Brook 9/28 4pm to 6pm and will be doing his 2 hour throwing clinic. Scott is a nationally known disc golf educator and has also written a book about Disc Golf called “Growing Up Disc Golf”. The cost is only 25$ and juniors are only 5$.

This is 1 of 4 scheduled stops in NH.

I’m guessing we will be throwing in the field, but I am not 100% sure yet.

Coming to Wheelock Park July 4th!

Birdie Bash at The Pines Birdie Bash at The Pines is a Disc golf tournament in Keene, New Hampshire beginning July 4, 2024 and hosted by Keene Disc Golf Club.

A-Tier coming through Otter Brook this summer. Nice players pack for the AMs and added cash for the Pros.

Tri-State Championship Tri-State Championship is a PDGA-sanctioned disc golf tournament in Gill, Massachusetts beginning July 19, 2024 and hosted by Franklin County Disc Golf Club.

I know we are late this year, but here we go for this years club membership and tag. Honestly I hate asking every year, but this is how we fund Otter Brook and now The Pines. And you can see where your money is going! We have a course at Wheelock (soon with tees), the new picnic table is on 8, benches are getting stained and new signage is coming to Otter Brook. And I think we got our money's worth out of those laminated signs we put up in 2016!
Also I know we talked about a shirt this year. I am working on it, but it will be seperate from membership. I will keep you posted.

Keene Disc Golf 2024 Membership Keene Disc Golf 2024 Membership is a Disc golf event in Keene, New Hampshire beginning December 31, 2024 and hosted by Keene Disc Golf Club.

So Mike is running south for the month of February and I am taking off for the month of March. This means we need to sneak a KDGC club meeting...well this week. Saturday, 12:30, Modestman on Main St.
Would really love to see some new players come to the meeting. We need people to step up to help maintain the course, would be nice to have a couple local tournaments this year, maybe Handicap league. Point is, stuff does not happen by magic, it takes planning and volunteers.
Mybig project this year is a pretty solid clean up of Otter Brook this spring. There are lots of downed trees and branches that need to be moved, road to 12 needs to be re-established, 10M circles need some love, puncheons need some love, AND for the 3rd year running we really need to get new signage up and yes I am working on it.
We also will be putting in tees at The Pines at Wheelock DGC at some point. Plus a bunch of other assorted projects.
And Im looking for ideas for something for being a member this year. We have not done shirts in awhile. Do we want to do that?

Also you can still become a member if you want to play. Membership money is how we are building the Wheelock 9 hole course.
