Named after the unprecedented 7 time winner of the Boston Marathon (he ran it 33 times....after he was told he shouldnt run because he has a "bad" heart). The last time he won it, he was 41. Now also includes the DeMar Half Marathon. Different starting points, same finish. DeMar lived and taught in Keene, NH & this race is a tribute to him.
