My name is Sonja Hansen and I am the founder of Pura Vida Health & Wellness Clinic. I was inspired to create a safe place for people of all ages and all levels to connect to our community and inner self through the practice of yoga. Come join us!
The physical poses are just one small part of an ancient 8-limbed system designed to guide us back into connection with ourselves, others, and the world around us.
The 8 limbs of yoga include:
• Ethics & values (Yamas)
• Self-discipline & self-study (Niyamas)
• Physical practice (Asana)
• Breathwork (Pranayama)
• Turning inward (Pratyahara)
• Focus & concentration (Dharana)
• Meditation (Dhyana)
• Deep connection/union (Samadhi)
Over time, yoga becomes less about “doing poses” and more about how you move through life, regulate your nervous system, care for your body, relate to others, and come home to yourself.
It’s a practice of awareness, presence, and remembering. 🌿
