Brandi aka Race 333 competed in the AirVenture Cup

Tried to fly south and a) put some time on the motor b) see a friend's new place and c) celebrate their birthday. Alas, small incessant rain showers got thick enough there wasn't a safe path through (VFR) and I had to turn back; still got a nice flight in and shot some media 🙂😊😎

New seat belts from Crow safety in Las Vegas; nice people reasonable prices and quick delivery (the old belts were manufactured in May of '82 and given the sun fading I didn't trust them)

A tent and an airplane (and friends camped down the row) what else does one need? 😂😂

Finally! I love working on this airplane... but I love flying it more 🛩️ so I'm glad she's whole and well and safe and can take me to Oshkosh to hang with my flying buddies

Brandi is fully back together, alas, we have some gauge and comm issues to resolve before we can fly her

The new panel fits … after install check mark remove trim like 307 times … 😂😂
