A recent magna cm laude graduate of UW–Milwaukee with a BFA in Musical Theatre and Journalism/Mass Communication, Shannon brings a warm, performance-minded approach to helping young musicians build confidence, technique and a genuine love of music.

Perfect for students who are ready to take their first steps in voice or piano — and discover just how much fun making music can be.

This fall, KAPA is proud to welcome Jamie Fry to its music faculty, bringing more than a decade of professional performance experience to the studio.

An AMDA-trained musical theatre performer, Fry spent 10 years working professionally in New York City, appeared in concerts and productions across the country, and toured for four years with the USO Show Troupe of Metropolitan New York. Most recently, she appeared with Bombshell Theatre Company in Disaster!

At KAPA, Fry will coach voice and musical theatre on Saturdays, working with students on acting through song, audition material, character, storytelling, and performance technique.

Her arrival also marks the next step in KAPA’s continued expansion of its theatre curriculum, with additional classes and programming planned for 2027.
